"I hired Celeste from Form and Function Design Co. to help me with the design and styling of my kitchen, dining room, living room, and back entrance. I live in a 1200 square foot bungalow built in the 1970s so the main requirement of the re-design was that it be functional. I have three kids and need to maximize the use of my space. Celeste was highly motivated and interested to talk about function within her design plans. Once we had the functional aspects figured out we moved on to creating warm and inviting spaces. Celeste helped with all aspects of the re-design (i.e. layout, paint colors, furniture selection, kitchen layout, kitchen design choices (e.g. hardware, faucet, sink, tile, shelving), and styling of the spaces (e.g. curtains, wall hangings, pillows, and decorative pieces)). She listened to my likes and dislikes and provided me with options that fit well with my style preferences (modern and farmhouse). Overall, Celeste was easy to communicate with and responsive to my questions and requests. One thing that I appreciated about working with Celeste is that she encouraged me to pick design choices that I loved, not just the "safe and traditional choices". For example, the tile that I ended up picking for the backsplash in my kitchen is a mosaic pattern that looks stunning. Another thing that I valued is that Celeste helped me finish the space with the styling services she provided. I often don't finish reno projects and I am happy that this project is wrapped up!
